Why I wanted to become a personal trainer:
I remember what life was like, before I found the right path. I used to starve myself and kill myself in my workouts, only to get zero results. I remember always worrying about food, my weight, and feeling hopeless that nothing was ever going to change. Until one day, I finally figured out how to do things right, and I bought into the process right away. I started lifting heavy weights, and eating enough food to fuel my workouts and my lifestyle. I focused on building and adding foods in, instead of taking them away. The best part was I was enjoying the entire process, and I knew I finally found something sustainable. I started losing weight while eating more food then I ever had before, and my body was changing for the better. I was getting stronger, felt less stress, my pain was gone, I felt more mobile, and I had more energy.
As I was going through this journey I wanted to shout through the rooftops about how awesome it was and how everyone should be doing this! I wanted to help people who were struggling just like me and show them that there’s hope. That’s when I decided that this is my passion and what I should be doing. My biggest goal is to help people get their freedom back, and learn to live a healthy sustainable lifestyle.
My Training Philosophy:
Treat you as an individual. No cookie cutter programs.
Be your guide, but also your friend. I don’t treat my clients like they are just another number, and every single one is important.
Focus on education and give you the knowledge and confidence to reach your goals even after we are done working together.
Sustainability is key. No bootcamps or crash diets that may work in the short term, but hurt you in the long run.
Improve your mindset around nutrition and exercise, and make it a part of your lifestyle.
